Aim is to give an appreciation the types of threats you may be facing, both online and in the physical world.

Identify which threats you are concerned about and how far you are prepared to go to protect yourself

3. The dimensions of a privacy strategy
This is the theory bit: Principles and strategies to help guide your choices on the actions you will take.

4. Physical anti-surveillance
How to detect and evade someone who might be following you - on-foot, by car, on public transport and travelling internationally.

5. Technology
Choosing, configuring and using technology, including phones, email. messaging, computers, internet browsers and networks.

6. Money
Solutions to surveillance risks associated with your financial transactions and banking.

7. Resources
External links to further reading that will support your personal anti-surveillance journey.

Material Includes

  • The course contains around 2-hours of videos, numerous short written lessons, exercises and quizzes. Although we estimate the course will on average take people between 6 and 8 hours to complete, it is self-paced, allowing students to work at their own pace. We encourage you to take the time necessary to properly digest and understand the material.
  • There are no attachments; rather the course presents notes in a form suitable for screenshots. We encourage you to take screen-shots of any notes that particularly interest you. Hyperlinks to external resources are included both in the relevant lesson, as well as collated together in the Resources section at the end.
